This short video was created by Atelier Africa Safaris before we created the Congo Safaris branch. All the footage in the video is filmed by our Congo specialists, Timo and Michele. In the video you can see footage of Bukima Camp, the Nyiragongo Hike, Mikeno Lodge and finally also the Tchegera Camp on the island in Lake Kivu.

In the video you can see our personal experience while visiting two families of Gorilla during a hike from Bukima Camp in the Virunga Park. During the second visit we go so lucky that we were all alone in with the rangers and the Gorilla family. One of the silverback came so close, some of this footage was made on the iPhone since the lens on the camera zoomed in to much to get the whole silverback in frame.
